R. C. was an EMT for several years in Tulsa, Oklahoma before she left the busy streets and took up shop in the operating room as a surgical technologist. She has a passion for forensic anthropology and forensic science. When she isn't writing, she is reading anything she can get her hands on or watching a documentary.
She lives in Seattle, Washington with her dog named Zoscha.
The Skeleton Friend is her first novel.
